Here's a perfectly stunning closeup of Yahiko, from Seishouen. It's hard to describe how impressive Yahiko's growth is from the bratty pickpocket Kenshin and Kaoru first meet, to the concerned and responsible adult shown here. He has taken all of Kenshin's basic philosophies to heart but combined them with his own good sense, to end up a truly admirable young man. Here he's talking with love Tsubame about how ill Kaoru is, and how she's always waiting for Kenshin to return to her.
